Municipality of Zevenaar going green
Zevenaar’s City Hall is located in a former British American Tobacco factory. Alderman Tienke van de Werf; “Sustainability is a priority on our agenda. It is important for everyone, the municipality, citizens and companies. So also the coming years Zevenaar will focus on energy saving and green energy production. Half of the installation is for City Hall energy consumption, the other half is made available for local citizens without a roof fit for solar modules, so we work together on a greener future”.
The project is executed by Sun Project, together with Hanergy and Energie van Hollandsche Bodem. Sun Projects’ Hans Lambrecht: “Fantastic to be able to make a monument green together with Hanergy and help the municipality reach their sustainability goals and provide a suitable solution for local consumers as well”.
